Pamela Ferretjans, the founding attorney of Ferretjans Law, PLLC. With knowledge spanning across immigration, family, and personal injury, her ultimate goal remains to advocate for her client’s rights. Empathy, professionalism, and knowledge are her guiding principles as she helps new clients. 

Pamela was born and raised in Uruguay. She immigrated to the United States when she was 16 years old, with nothing but dreams. After graduating from high school in New Jersey, she moved to Miami, Florida, where she worked in the banking and real estate industry for over six (6) years.

While working full time as a business banker, Pamela earned her Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University (FIU) with a Minor in Psychology. After graduating from FIU, she was admitted to St. Thomas University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor Degree. 

During her years in law school, Pamela served the community through various legal non-profit organizations and governmental entities. Her activities have included; Honors Students Internships with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Homeland Security (DHS),  VIDA Legal services, and clerk positions at private law firms specializing in Immigration, and civil litigation.

While interning for the Department of Homeland Security, (ICE), Pamela was based at Krome Detention Center at the Trial Attorneys Division where she expanded her knowledge in immigration law and trial skills.  

In 2016, Pamela was honored to be selected as a member for the St. Thomas Law LEAD Program led by Honorable David M. Gersten, former Chief Judge of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. During this experience she received extensive mentorship and guidance from experienced trial attorneys.
