Valeria Alvarez-Verdier is an Associate Attorney at FERRETJANS LAW, PLLC.
Her practice focuses on Family Law and Criminal Defense. Valeria was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. At the age of nine, she immigrated to the United States with her family. Immediately after graduating High School, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Communications at Florida International University.
After graduating from FIU, Valeria was admitted into St. Thomas College of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate and graduated Magna Cum Laude, as top 10% of her class.
During her years in law school, Valeria served as the Vice President of St. Thomas’s Trial Team E-Board and had the honor of being chosen to compete for five different trial competitions.
Valeria was also part of St. Thomas’s Law Review Organization.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Valeria worked at a law firm for over six years, where she assisted with all Family and Criminal Defense cases. Valeria is licensed to practice in the State of Florida. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
